Application:
Ethylene Glycol is mainly used to make polyester, polyester resin, diluent, plasticizer, surfactant, synthetic fiber, cosmetics and explosive. It can also be used as solvent of dye/ink, anti freezing agent of motor, dehydrating agent. Besides, synthetic resin PET, fiber grade PET (poly fiber) and chip grade PET for mineral water bottles can be made from ethylene glycol. It is also can be applied to make hydramine resin, surfactant, oxalaldehyde and explosive. What’s more, ethylene glycol can be used as anti-freezing agent. |
